We are the 8647th, a movement of veterans united by the oath we swore to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We are called again—not by rank or regulation, but by conscience and country—to oppose the clear and present threat posed by the unlawful and illegitimate efforts of Donald J. Trump to retain power through deception, violence, and insurrection.

We raised our right hand. And never quite put it back down
